Hundreds of homeless individuals are struggling with hunger, while many farms and restaurants throw away food simply due to an excess. One of our innovations we want to bring to the table is by linking these organizations that have a surplus of good food to homeless shelters that would allow the food to be used in an efficient manner.

The Food Inequality project raises awareness on multiple fronts, such as homelessness, and food inequality, while at the same time, actually feeding homeless individuals. We uniquely merge photojournalism and social entrepreneurship in to achieve this goal.

We created a small proof of concept video to showcase this project by providing food to the homeless people of Ohio State’s campus.
